During her first red carpet appearance since her cheating scandal broke, Kristen Stewart barely alluded to the rift in her personal life.
She was greeted Thursday evening at the Toronto International Film Festival by hoards of enthusiastic fans yelling, "Kristen, I love you!"
and cheers of support.
When asked how she was doing, Stewart, 22, said merely, "I'm fine," according to the Associated Press.
Stewart, without referring to the scandal, told Reuters the support from fans was "amazing" and said she was thankful "to know that everyone is here."
Otherwise, the actress, who was promoting her new film On the Road, stuck to questions about the movie. During a Q&A after the screening, Stewart said playing the emotional side of her character, Marylou, was the most difficult thing about the role. "She loved so openly – and that's hard," said Stewart.
